Hi!
No, I have not abandoned WW- in fact, I decided to theme my town!
My town is now themed around the four seasons, with one part being themed for Spring, the other for Summer, etc.
Here are my plans for each part!
Spring: Pink, Purple & White flowers, Jacob's Ladders (when I get them), streams, fountains, pastel blue brick paths with cherry blossom petals, cherry & peach orchards, parks (with benches), turnip gardens and patterns with strawberry bushes
Summer: Blankets by beaches, yellow and orange flowers with some gold roses (again, when I get them), dandelions, picnic areas, parks, fountains, streams, swimming pool, coconuts by beaches (part of the summer part is the island), orange orchards, paths will be stepping stones/ water lilies on water bordered by stones on the sides. Also patterns with berry bushes.
Autumn: Orange, red and gold flowers, dandelion puffs, apple & pear orchards, paths will be brown brick with leaves scattered on them, parks with benches, pumpkins (patterns laid down on the ground),gardens with patterns that show carrots & cabbage- there must be lots of gardens & orchards as Autumn is often known as harvest season. Patterns on ground that show fallen conkers, patterns that show leaves.
Winter: Turnip gardens, paths are red & green brick with snow in between the bricks, perhaps present boxes scattered around, only cedar trees, cedar forests, flowers are purple, white and blue, perhaps with some Jacob's Ladders, pattern showing an outdoor fire with logs around it. So... that's 1 slot for paths, 4 slots for fire & 2 slots for the logs. I might even re-use this pattern for the Summer part!
I need to stock up on axes as I will have to start cutting down each and every tree in town, then taking a few fruits from each fruit tree and storing them to be planted later.
I also have a theme for my house!
~Main Room: Mainly cabana, exotic & classic furniture- to give a cosy, cottage feel, with a fireplace, benches, tables, flowers, a TV...
~Upstairs Room: Fruit café! ^u^ A nice, kawaii café with mainly fruit themed furniture- seats, tables (with food being tea sets, cake and of course fruit!)
~Right room: My own bedroom, kawaii! With lots of lovely, fruit, flower and Katie furniture! :D
~Left room: Harmonious, regal themed room-
~Back room: A room that changes with the seasons!

Turning over a New Leaf
First, I grew my first blue pansies today!!! :D
Second, I'm getting New Leaf... tomorrow....
However, just to clarify- I'm still going to visit Rainbow Town!
There will probably be a separate blog for my New Leaf town though...

So much for mid-March celebrations....
*sigh*
Red Nose Day? I was sick and the red nose wasn't in my catalog, Able Sisters didn't stock it either.
Shamrock Day? I felt thrown off by the fact I only didn't pick clovers from the 6th, not the 1st, and I accidentally picked one on the 6th, so I figured I'd just pick them all from then. No Shamrock day in Rainbow this year :(
So the next event I've got to prepare for is...
Spring!
I only made one pink hybrid, and that was yesterday- pink cosmos. They now sit proudly in my hair :)
The first EVER hybrids I made in Rainbow were black roses (first hybrids) and Pink roses (randomly appeared in a villager's garden). However, they both accidentally died :(
By accidentally, I mean that I let them die when I didn't mean to, I thought I watered them...
Anyway, I didn't get any more hybrids (that I was aware of, anyway) until I started trying for them again. Ironically, none of them appeared in my main hybrid breeding spot xD
I got an orange pansy... I think that one just appeared in a garden :p
My first ones appeared in West Polarton, in a little patch of red and yellow cosmos. I was surprised to see a black cosmo at the very left of that patch! It was a patch by the riverside. I discovered the hybrid when I was walking around and saw something fairly large. I thought it was a bird, but then a peacock butterfly came to mind! That must have meant I made a hybrid. I caught it, and I was really happy! I then discovered the new hybrid.
The next day, another black cosmo appeared in that same spot, above the first black cosmo ^o^
I didn't get any more hybrids, let some of my potential parent flowers wither :( ...
Then yesterday, while I was checking for hybrids, I didn't find any until I finally spotted my pink cosmos! They popped up near two isolated red and white cosmos by my house. It took me by surprise! I took the cosmos and placed them in my hair.
I'm ending this post abruptly because the heating is too high and when I'm too hot it puts me in a bad mood... I have been like that for like an hour so it's time to take a break from my computer (I don't even use it much now anyway)
I have LOTS of Biology work to do, I need to study medicine at Cambridge (I'm 13 so I think it's a good time to prepare) and must make space for GCSE Chemistry too, so I don't use my laptop much
Not like I want to, I use my phone way more anyway XD

I was also pleasantly surprised to discover the dandelion c:
I spotted the pink cosmos just before I went to bed x3
Today I was about to check out Tom Nook's store when I discovered some orange cosmos!
Where?
When I don't know exactly where to plant flowers yet and I want to free up inventory space, I buy flowers from Nook and just plant them all in one random place.
In this case, I just found out today that I had red and sun cosmos next to each other in that random patch, and orange cosmos popped up today!
The Spring party is tomorrow, but I don't know what to do really...
Some ideas...
- Plant lots of flowers in the party area in a big flower shape :D
- Make some designs (petal designs?)
- Send some neighbours flower furniture
- Invite my sister over, and play games, send her flower furniture...
- A few decorations made in Able Sisters?

Long time no see!
Hey!
It's been months since I last posted, and I'm so sorry- but I'll always remember those first months of Rainbow, although I didn't have the opportunity to embrace it... I'm sure this next year will be much better, especially with this blog!
This March in Rainbow...
It's been months since I last posted, and I'm so sorry- but I'll always remember those first months of Rainbow, although I didn't have the opportunity to embrace it... I'm sure this next year will be much better, especially with this blog!
This March in Rainbow...
- Saturday 7th- Flea Market! Selling junk for higher prices & buying coveted items from neighbours, a day full of opportunities to form links with neighbours and get hold of some of those jewels you always wanted... will you manage to get a good deal?
- Friday 13th- Red Nose Day! If you don't know- it is a biannual event that is based in the U.K. centered around comedy and laughter for charity! The idea is ''do something funny for money''- raise money through comedy and help the less fortunate! The famous red noses are an icon of the event. On 13th March, wear your red nose accessory (check your catalogue and Able Sisters!) and tell your best and funniest jokes, tell funny stories and do something funny! Every funny action will receive Bells which will be donated to Boondox! 😃
- Saturday 14th- La-Di-Day! Bring out your inner musician with this fun event where you hope that your song will become the new town tune! Have fun singing the best songs to become the iconic tune of Rainbow... that is, until May!
- Sunday 15th- Fishing Tourney! We may have had one pretty recently, but your next chance to catch a big fish is on the way! Will you win with a large Spring fish? A great way to get to know the fish that appear in Spring, and friendly competition to compete for the coveted trophy!
- Tuesday 17th- Shamrock Day! In the follow-up to this day (from March 6), clovers will not be picked and will be left around town. This means that on the day, you can search for a four-leafed clover! Will you find one and get lucky, or not? Next year, I'm going to let clovers grow from the 1st of March when they first start appearing 😊 That's not the end of the celebration! Pick up assorted themed patterns from the Able Sisters and use them to decorate a hat, outfit, umbrella and so forth! Wear a four leaved clover (if you're lucky enough to have one!) and go fishing or bug catching! Exchange hybrid flowers and green furniture with friends... there's no end to the fun that can be had!
- Friday 20th- Spring Celebration! Enjoy the official arrival of Spring with the vernal equinox! Wear amazing spring-themed clothing, decorate your room accordingly, enjoy flowers and the warmer weather. Along the way there will be games with prizes such as hybrids (especially pink ones!). The day will be fun, and incredible!
- Sunday 29th- Yay Day! A cheery day to mark the end of March and start of April, celebrate the final Sunday of March through complimenting your other villagers and seeing the best in you as they compliment you. A day guaranteed to put a smile on anyone's face! Enjoy bonding with your fellow villagers as you celebrate everyone's good side.
